Martine Dunnwald is a Research Professor at the University of Iowa in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology, where she teaches the anatomical sciences to healthcare professionals and cell biology to graduate students. She also lead a small research lab focused on epidermal and craniofacial development that is epithelial cell centric. Martine is the immediate past president of the American Association for Anatomy, and leads the community engagement efforts in her department. When not working, you may find Martine taking pictures, exploring the world, and always with knitting needles in her bag.
